All Fisher Space Pen Refills are original sealed pressurized Fisher Space Pen Refills. The Fisher Space Pen refills are unconditionally guaranteed, have an estimated 100 years shelf-life, write underwater, between temperatures of -45° C to +200° C, at any angle and even upside down!
Years of research and development and over 2 million dollars in investment have allowed Paul Fisher to develop a refill with unique characteristics in terms of ink, sphere and cartridge. The original Fisher pressurized refill for writing in extreme conditions, a long continuous line over 9 miles!
The principle of pressurizing to about 6.3 kg per square meter imposed the creation of a semi-solid ink able to return liquid when it's time to writing. The advantages of this innovative ink are many: cost of consumption (for the same amount of ink, Fisher lasts up to 15 times longer) writes under water and any angle (even upside down!), adheres to multiple surfaces, is insensitive to variations in pressure and doesn't freeze.
The Fisher Space Pen Refills, with medium point and black or blue color, will fit all the Fisher Space Pens and come with adapter to charge also Parker pens compatible with this standard.

| Notes | History of the Fisher Space Pen Paul Fisher developed the Fisher Space Pen almost 40 years ago during a time when the "race for space" was being fought. When astronauts began to fly they used ordinary pencils. The lead of these pencils could easily brake off causing dangerous situations when they floated around in the gravity-less space cabin. A safer and more reliable writing instrument was needed, the Fisher Space Pen. More than two million dollars went into the development of the Fisher Space Pen and in 1965 Paul Fisher successfully developed the first pressurized Fisher Space Pens. Ordinary ball pens rely on gravity to feed the ink and have an opening to allow air to replace ink as it is used. But there is no hole in the hermetically sealed and pressurized Space Pens. Evaporation, wasted ink and back leakage are eliminated. Shelf life is increased from a normal two years to an estimated 100 years. Your Fisher Space Pen is unconditionally guaranteed to give you good, satisfactory service both here on Earth and in Space. |
