ArduPilot Mega supports 8 RC channels, has four serial ports and features an all-in design. It consists of a main processor board and an IMU shield that fits on it. Add a GPS module and Xbee wireless models for telemetry and you have a complete autopilot solution.
Everything you need for ArduPilot Mega is included in this kit:
Two Xbee wireless modules and two adapters for wireless telemetry. Use the XBee Pro 900 Wire Antenna in the air, and the XBee Pro 900 RPSMA with the 900MHz Duck Antenna RP-SMA on the ground. Also use two DIY Drones XtreemBee adapters, with one FTDI cable for the laptop connection on the ground. You can connect the airborne Xbee adapter to Ardupilot Mega with jumper wires.
Everything you need for ArduPilot Mega is included in this kit:
- ArduPilot Mega board
- ArduPilot Mega IMU shield (With pin headers)
- GPS module (MediaTek MT3329 GPS 10Hz + Adapter Basic)
- Two 3x8 right angle pin headers
- Four female-to-female servo cables to connect ArduPilot Mega to your RC system (if you want you can buy more servo cables as many channels you want ArduPilot Mega to control since the autopilot can control up to eight.)
